Join us for a three-half-days (rain or shine) where we'll embark on an exploration of our farm, its animals, and the products they provide. We'll explore the fascinating world of our farm's ecosystem, understanding how these animals impact and contribute to their environment. Discover their unique characteristics, natural habitats, dietary preferences, and the harmony that results from working alongside nature.

Our theme "Exploring Regenerative Farming, it's Ecosystem and impact on our Daily Lives and Future" is geared toward responsible 8-12yr olds. Spots are limited. 

What you can expect:

Interactive Hands-on learning 

  • Classroom setting group work.
  • A Drawstring bag with necessary learning tools/curriculum items.
  • Pasture walks where we'll observe, analyze and report our findings
  • Making/Tasting products like hand-cranked ice cream, etc.
  • Take Home activities that reinforce ways to work alongside nature, even in a home setting.

A Liability Release and Emergency Health Form will be required before attending (provided closer to camp timing).

*Farm Safety Will be Stressed at the Beginning of Each Day, and Enforced throughout camp* 

Staff Information: Sessions will be supervised and taught by myself (Gina) who has created/instructed Fairfield County's Manufacturing Camp in corporation with Ohio University where I taught for 9 years. In addition, there will be 1 to 2 other Homeschool moms with a degree in education assisting. 

Cancellation policy: 50% of the purchase price will be reimbursed if canceled before June 1. Any cancellation June 1 or later will result in no refund of purchase price. 

Expectations of camper: This is a working farm and safety is most important. The safety of your child(ren) as well as the rest of the campers, staff, volunteers, and animals is our priority. Safety Rules will be reinforced and discussed daily at the start of camp and strictly enforced. If any camper causes any safety issues or break any rules, they will immediately be removed and their parent will be contacted. 

Waiver: Before the first day of camp, A Health/Emergency Form and Waiver are required to be filled out and returned. These forms will be sent the week prior to camp. 

Dietary Restrictions: Please let us know if your child has any dietary restrictions so we can work with you on accommodating their needs.
