Abraham's Story
- Abraham was a faithful servant of the Lord. In Genesis 22, The Lord spoke to Abraham telling him to take his only son Isaac up to the mountain top and sacrifice him as a burnt offering to the Lord. Abraham and Isaac built the altar as instructed. He bound Isaac up and laid him on the altar and was ready to sacrifice him when an Angel yelled "Abraham, Abraham." "Here I am Lord", said Abraham. God knew he feared Him because he was willing to do exactly as he was told. God said "I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore." This is what faith looks like.
