Description:

Our average our hanging weights are 170-200lbs per half. 
You'll get a variety of bacon, pork chops, roasts, ham, steaks, ribs, sausages, lard, hocks, and organ meats cut to your specifications.  After we receive your order, we'll send you an email with a helpful guide to help you decide how you'd like your meat processed.


Pricing: 

This non refundable deposit MUST be paid to secure your pig. After your hog is processed you will be charged $6.25/lb hanging weight which INCLUDES your processing costs. Your deposit amount will be deducted from the total. 

A half a hog hanging weight can range from 85-100lbs per half which means your total cost can run $1000-1250.

Plan on approximately one cubic foot of freezer space for every 15-20 pounds of meat. The interior of a milk crate is slightly more than a cubic foot. For a whole hog, you will need 7-9 cu. Ft of freezer space.

Processing:

Your hog is scheduled to be processed the last week in August - you will need to have your cutting instructions ready by then - You will work directly with our processor to relay your instructions. This ensures if you have any questions, you'll get the best answer and information doesn't get misunderstood or missed by going through us. 

We will pay the processor for your hog, pick it up and bring it to the farm. You will be expected to pickup your meat when it's ready. You will be notified on a Wednesday and your meat will be pickup the upcoming Saturday during our open-hours.
