Swiss is a hard cheese with a nutty flavor & a firm texture. Colby is a mild, crowd-pleaser of a cheese, so it is friendly with all sorts of drinks. Combine the two (Twisted Swiss) and it goes with just about anything. If you want beer, go for a pilsner, pale ale, brown ale, or lager. About Tri-State Cheese
Tri-State Cheese was founded by two experienced cheesemakers, Nelson Hershberger and Stanley Mullet, who met while working at a historic Swiss cheese plant in Ohio. In 2011, they launched Tri-State Cheese in Hicksville, Ohio, with a simple goal: to make exceptional cheese using milk from local family farms.
Their first cheese was Muenster, crafted from Amish-sourced milk across Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. Since then, Tri-State has expanded its offerings while staying committed to small-batch production and quality ingredients. Today, they partner with Yankee Springs Farms to source high-quality milk that gives their cheeses the rich, consistent flavor your family can taste in every bite.
