You'll get a variety of ground beef, steaks, roasts, stew meat, soup bones, liver, cut to your specifications. After we receive your order, we'll send you an email with a helpful guide to help you decide how you'd like your meat processed.
This non refundable deposit MUST be paid to secure your pig. After your hog is processed you will be charged $7.49/lb hanging weight which INCLUDES your BASIC processing costs. If you choose have beef patties or specialty products made (beef bacon, hot dogs, etc.), those additional expensive will be added to your remaining balance. Your deposit amount will be deducted from the total.
A half a beef hanging weight can range from 360-400lbs per half which means your total cost can run $2700-3000.
Plan on approximately 20 cu.ft of freezer space for half a beef.
Your beef is scheduled to be processed the last week in August - you will need to have your cutting instructions ready by then - You will work directly with our processor to relay your instructions. This ensures if you have any questions, you'll get the best answer and information doesn't get misunderstood or missed by going through us.
We will pay the processor for your beef, pick it up and bring it to the farm. You will be expected to pickup your meat when it's ready. You will be notified on a Wednesday and your meat will be pickup the upcoming Saturday during our open-hours.
